NANCY DAVIS BOOTH (DIRECTOR): A nationally acclaimed soprano, teacher and director, Nancy has enjoyed a 40 year long professional singing career that has taken her as far away as St. Petersburg, Russia, to The White House and major symphonies across the nation.  But most locals will recognize her from her decades of appearances with the Tucson Symphony, Tucson Pops Orchestra and the Messiah Sing-Inn.  Most recently Nancy has been directing productions at Arts Express Theatre, The Invisible Theatre and Live Theatre Workshop.

While serving as an Associate Professor at Butler University in Indianapolis, she created the curriculum for the musical theatre concentration, produced and directed the Lyric Theatre Program and taught studio voice.  While on the faculty of Concordia College in Moorhead, MN she directed the women’s chorus.  While on the faculty of Pima Community College, she directed mainstage productions, garnering two Outstanding Education Program Awards and taught acting, musical theatre and studio voice.  She has a Master of Fine Arts in Acting/Directing, a Master of Science in Child Development and Family Studies and a Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice, all from the University of Arizona.  Her dedication to child abuse prevention led her to accept the position as Assistant Director and Director of Residential Services at Casa de los Ninos Crisis Shelter from 1990-95.

GRETCHEN WIRGES: (director) Gretchen Wirges has appeared on, directed for, and written plays for most of the stages in the Tucson Theatre community, Some of her notable acting roles include Margery in HAND TO GOD (Arizona Onstage), Rumpet (Scrooge) in A DESERT CAROL (Scoundrel & Scamp), Candace in THE BOOKSTORE (Invisible Theatre), Peppermint Patty in SNOOPY THE MUSICAL (Live Theatre Workshop) and understudy for Ethel in Barefoot in the Park (Arizona Theatre Company). Gretchen also works in many other aspects of theatre including sound design, projection design, costuming, and stage management.  As a playwright, she has also directed several of her original plays at Scoundrel and Scamp, Live Theatre Workshop, and Tucson Academy. She dedicates this performance to Amy Lou who taught her how to remain playful and childlike.

Known for her innovative approach and passionate commitment to storytelling, Betsy has directed numerous critically acclaimed productions across various genres including ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE,  VIOLET, BURIED CHILD, DEAR JACK, DEAR LOUISE, THE GARBOLOGISTS, MAJOR BARBARA, CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION, THE ROAD TO MECCA, THE LION KING, THE LITTLE MERMAID, LEGALLY BLONDE, TWELFTH NIGHT, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, among others. Lori Hunt is excited to return to the Invisible Theatre stage after last being seen in IT’s staged reading of SMALL DOMESTIC ACTS. She made her IT debut in 2009’s LEAVING IOWA and since has been seen at IT in the shows A KID LIKE JAKE, THE LETTERS, FOX ON THE FAIRWAY, and SHEAR MADNESS. She was a MAC Award recipient in 2013 for playing Mindy in Arizona Onstage’s production of FIVE WOMEN WEARING THE SAME DRESS. Lori worked nonstop for 9 years performing sketch comedy and rock music in Ohio, where she also learned that middle management is not for her. She is a B.F.A. graduate of the U of A School of Theatre and has studied at the Groundlings and UCB Theatres in Los Angeles. Offstage, Lori likes to spend quality time with her cats Chidi and Jianyu and decorate her home (badly).

Robin Mirlocca – Has always lived life on the stage.  From starting dance classes at 2 years of age and working her way up to solos by 11, Robin started teaching dance classes by age 16.  Due to health concerns, she turned her eye towards acting and started taking classes at the University of Arizona.  She later transitioned to taking classes at the Studio for Actors, working primarily on scene work and joining their improve troope, under the teachings of SNL alumni Anna Risely.  In the past 12 years, she has worked for such companies as Beowulf Alley, Winding Road, Something Something, The Community Players, and The Road Runner Theatre Company to name a few.  Her favorite roles include Charlotte from Beyond Therapy, Marela from Anna in the Tropics, and Lucy from What Every Girl Should Know.  She was named Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of Lina from Cry it Out in the first Carmen awards and, is the owner of Streetlamp Productions artistic company.

Dante Crossroad  is something of a rising star in Tucson theatre, having been in multiple shows over the last couple of years, becoming the Head of Valley of the Moon’s Theatrical Department, and being a member of the Stories That Soar ensemble. They made their Invisible Theatre debut in THE BOOKSTORE in 2024 in which they portrayed four different characters, showcasing their proficiency in physicality and vocal modulation. They returned to IT earlier this year in the staged reading of SMALL DOMESTIC ACTS as the Narrator. They were most recently seen as Mr. Blake in THE MINUTES at Live Theatre Workshop, where they also portrayed the Narrator in PUFFS in 2023 and King Rupert/Hudson the Hip-hop-oppotamus in RAPunzel in 2024. You’ll be able to catch Dante Crossroad at IT again in GOING IT ALONE at the end of May. Stay tuned, for Dante is just getting started!

Tyler Gastelum (he/him) is ecstatic to collaborate with Invisible Theatre for the very first time. Tyler is an alumnus of the local Bennett Theatrelab. With nearly 20 years of experience creating art in the Tucson community, he is passionate about both the arts and education, being lucky enough to combine those two loves, on and off the stage. Recent credits include Antonio Salieri in Winding Road Theatre Ensemble’s AMADEUS, Felipe the Rooster in Scoundrel and Scamp Theatre’s recent production of ALEBRIJES, and Jon in Winding Road’s TICK, TICK . . . BOOM!

Sean Hazen is a Tucson native and has been acting professionally for nine years. He graduated in 2019 from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City with an associate degree in Theatre. After graduation, he remained in NYC, earning multiple theatre and film/television credits, including a residency with The Complete Theatre Company. His original one-act play, The Stockyard, was a finalist in the Strawberry One-Act Festival, earning him a playwright credit. In 2020, Sean returned to Tucson and has been steadily integrating into the local theatre community. He is thrilled to be back with Invisible Theatre. Sean extends heartfelt thanks to his fellow castmates, the entire production team, and his parents for their constant support.

Owen Saunders is simply ecstatic to be making his Invisible Theatre debut! Born and raised in Tucson, Owen has engaged in local theatrics as long as he can remember. Whilst attending Pima Community College for a semester or two, Owen had the great pleasure of playing the conniving Buckingham in Shakespeare’s Richard III, as well as Tom in These Shining Lives. Late last year, Owen took to the Live Theatre Workshop Mainstage as Mac Sam in The Miss Firecracker Contest. Having previously performed with The Rogue Theatre as Young Andrea in Galileo, and Pip in Moby Dick, Owen most recently portrayed Balthazar in the Rogue’s production of Romeo & Juliet. Enthralled and curious, Owen continues to deepen his abilities while developing a greater understanding of the arts, himself, and the world that surrounds him. Owen would like to thank his wonderful partner, his essential two brothers, and his gracious parents for making his dreams a possibility.

Emily Fuchs (she/they) is excited to be participating in Hopscotch to Infinity! Born and raised in Tucson, Emily received an Associate of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from Pima Community College in 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies from The University of Arizona in 2019, and is graduating with a Masters Degree in Studies of Global Media this Spring.
